In my opinion, boring or not boring is not the first thing that come into mind. My first and foremost is are you prepare for retirement in term of financial ? This is very important. Because when you are retired, you don’t have income anymore and will use your EPF money and for pensioners, they will get little amount of pensions.

Just imaging life in 30 years forward. Are you thinking money in your EPF account or pensions is enough to survive before you check-in? And what is your retirement life-style you want to live? Are you choose to live in budget retirement, moderate retirement, comfortable retirement or luxurious retirement? All depends how much money you have at that time. And it’s depends what is your look into it now and what actions you are taking to achieve it.

So, when money doesn’t matter at that time, you can eliminate boring by doing what you like. Some people likes to travel, going to vacation, gardening and so on.

If you have enough money and still feel boring, at least you are far away for living in downgraded lifestyle at retirement age
