It was an exciting and great event. On Saturday and Sunday, 5th and 6th January, my agency force was held Agent Planning Workshop(APW2008) in The Woods Resort Ulu 
Yam, Batu Caves. This is yearly planning event done to have agent and agency management team get together to do a planning and goal setting. Around 50 agents including fulltime agent and parttime agent attended the event.
Main event was started on 10.30AM by Guru Rodzman with singing Prudential song, We Are No. 1. After that, our boss, Mr. Firdaus Lau gave some speech and review about 2007 performance. Then, he advised all to do proper planning and goal setting during the time.
Guru Rodzman took back his place and go thoroughly the content. We were given a workbook that compiled all things; self-reflect, last year performance sheet, this year goal, team strategy and individual strategy and agency schedule related to recruitment event and persistency class. After that, we were divided to SBUs and did further discussion until night.
We also have very good lunch, dinner and barbeque managed by D’Lemon during the event.
At night, every SBUs presented their discussion summary and every members production. Then, all productions was compiled and it’s became agency target.OK. This year agency wanted to do 21M!

Tradition follows, we did hand-stamping on a piece of textile with name and target production written beside. This thing will be hang on along the year in office to make every agents remember their targets.
On further discussion session, boss came to every SBUs and talked more about target and action plan towards achieve our goal until early morning.
We came back happily to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday afternoon. It’ s end of APW2008 and it’s a beginning…
